Design Engineer (m/f) (Bolton, Canada)

For our Bolton, Ontario head office, we are seeking a Designer for formwork, shoring and scaffolding.
The Designer's main task is to develop the most cost-effective formwork, shoring or scaffolding solutions for various kinds of concrete construction projects. These solutions are based on PERI's 30 standard product systems that range from straight wall formwork for retaining walls to sophisticated self-climbing systems used in the construction of the highest buildings in the world.
The vast majority of the Designer's time is spent on design using AutoCAD. The balance of time is spent performing occasional job site visits and/or supporting Sales Engineers with client presentations. Three years' experience is required in formwork, structural design, drafting and AutoCAD. A Civil Engineering degree is preferred.
