Production efficiency through largest manufacturing capacities
Production plant Weissenhorn, Germany
PERI was founded in 1969 by Artur Schwörer. The company’s name is taken from the Greek preposition “peri” (English: around). Forty years later, the family-managed company is one of the top 50 companies in Germany. Over the last few years, it has achieved above-average growth in new staff and turnover.

With over a billion euros of turnover in 2008, PERI with head office in Weissenhorn is the largest manufacturer and supplier of formwork and scaffolding systems in the world and is a skilled partner of construction companies. And we continue to grow: through the large-scale expansion of the production facilities at the main production plant in Weissenhorn, PERI has set the course for the future. Large, world-wide combined numbers of units lead to favourable manufacturing costs and reliable quality due to a high level of automation. With 5,400 employees, 47 subsidiaries and 100 high-capacity storage sites across the globe, PERI serves its customers with innovative system equipment and a broad range of services to realise construction projects in the most cost-effective manner possible.
