Health is the supreme possession of human beings. PERI engineers, in cooperation with the German Construction Safety Association, have paid special attention to the protection of health and safety for those working on construction sites.

This is why we have made safety and health protection the principal subject for our development engineers. A series of new appliances and supplementary equipment was produced that, above all, help to prevent falling accidents: ladders, platforms with guardrails, slab edge platforms, protection scaffolding units and with PERI UP the long-sought solution of the advance guardrail during the erection and dismantling of scaffolding.

PERI UP Scaffolding System
In more than 60 countries in which PERI appliances are used, the traditions, regulations and requirements for safety are very different. In Europe the responsible Authorities are presently trying to develop a uniform opinion on this, and to form this into standards and regulations. We should especially like to point out that the responsibility for the protection of health and safety, in any country, is the responsibility of the contractor carrying out the work.

We at PERI provide solutions; contract management must decide and arrange what they will use and where. We also point out that a safe working platform, a safe access and the use of pallets increase the output of the personnel. The extra costs incurred can therefore be more than compensated.
