Latifa Tower
A special lifting fork was designed to take tables up to 8m length and 6.6m height
The Latifa Tower is a 250 m tower with 60 floors which will be used as offices, appartments and penthouse flats in the upper floors. The completetion of the project is expected for August 2010. The especially designed tables are used for the perimeter beams in each floor as they safe the contractor a lot of material and time. To shift the tables from level to level the use of a special customized lifting fork is necessary.
The columns, corewalls and staircores are formed with TRIO 330 which can form wall heights of up to 3.30 m without extensions and with only two ties.
MULTIFLEX is used for the slabs and the use of PD8 towers in the Atrium was decided on as the slab heigt is doubled and there are a some openings. The system is flexible and the load capacity of the PD8 is high enough to bring the perfect formwork solution for this area of the highrise building.
