The CB climbing system which is modular and for all kinds of applications is used in Abu Dhabi
The Al Aryam Tower which is built in Abu Dhabi is a 42 storey high residential Tower with 4 Basements which will host 330 appartments and 216 cars in the parking area. The project will be completed in February 2010 and is achieving a 7-10 days cycle time. The total height of the building will be 150m having a typical floor area of 2,600 sqm and 800sqm core walls.
The retaining walls are built using VARIO in combination with SB 1and 2 brace frames. The columns and shearwalls are formed with VARIO GT24. VARIO is climbed with the PERI CB climbing as it is a system using framework brackets for supporting large-area wall formwork. They guarantee simple handling, fast concreting cycles and problem-free adjustment to different wall configurations. The slabs are formed with MULTIFLEX, Table forms using TK-heads and PD8.
