23 bridges are shored using the HD 200 heavy duty prop the lightweight prop for high loads
The 8th interchange at Sheikh Zayed Road will spread over a lengt of approxamitely 4.1 km and will consist of 23 bridges. Concrete quantity for the project is 50, 000 m3. Over crossing the main linked road Dubai to UAE Capital Abu Dhabi and Dubai Metro Rail with different levels and widths. Shimizu Corporation (Japan) is the Main Contractor, who’s having a good background of Bridge Construction.
The PERI systems used on site are the VARIO Pilecap, PD8, Push Pull Props and MULTIFLEX for Pier heads as well as MULTIFLEX, HEAVY DUTY PROP HD 200 and the shoring system PD8 load tower.
