Comprehensive formwork solutions and competent site support
The new showpiece business centre runs alongside the motorway and is a very impressive 8 km long. Floor surface totalling 900,000 m² is available, an area as large as 110 football pitches, and offers sufficient space for shopping arcades and generously-sized office and residential units.
In order to be able to realise such a project in a construction time of only 3 years, PERI provided a comprehensive end-to-end solution. Perfectly matched formwork systems guaranteed fast assembly and cycle sequences. PERI logistics took care of the needs-based deliveries of large quantities of materials directly to the construction site. Building-compliant general arrangement and assembly drawings, as well as training measures and briefings to accompany the construction schedule, were a further basis for ensuring optimal results. A 24-hour service was specially set up for the project and contributed to problem- free operations.
TRIO panel formwork was used for constructing the walls and TRIO column formwork for the high rectangular columns. The altogether 175 column formwork sets were supplemented by VARIO GT 24 column formwork, lightweight LICO column formwork and SRS circular column formwork. 63,000 m² of PERI slab tables, SKYDECK panel and MULTIFLEX girder slab formwork guaranteed efficient construction of the mostly 20 cm thick floors. With ceiling heights ranging from 2.20 m to 7.80 m, MULTIPROP aluminium and PEP steel props were used for transferring loads, ideally combined with PERI UP Rosett shoring.
